Director, Undergraduate Co-op & Internship Programs

With 20 years of experience in the career services profession, Andrea Comsa is currently the Director of Undergraduate Co-op and Internship Programs within the Georgia Tech Career Center and the Office of Experiential and Engaged Learning (E2L).  

In her current role she provides leadership and direction for Georgia Tech’s undergraduate cooperative and internship programs, as well as ensures alignment of these programs with Georgia Tech’s overall strategy for undergraduate high-impact practices and experiential learning.  

She works closely with the Career Center’s Employer Connections and Career Education teams in leading cross-functional collaborations to benefit students and employers. In her 17 years at Georgia Tech, she has served as a Career Specialist, Associate Director for Employer Relations, Interim Director of Career Services, Senior Director of Operations and Outreach, Senior Director of Career Education, and Interim Executive Director of the Career Center.

In her other roles, Andrea has served as the Director of Outreach and Assessment, Interim Director of Career Services, Associate Director of Employer Relations, Co-Chair of the SHRM Atlanta - Central GEM Chapter (2009-2011) as well as Chair of the College-to-Career Fair consortium for the Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers (2009-2010).
 
Andrea is certified as a PHR and holds an MBA, MSA in Management, and BBA in Human Resources from Georgia Southwestern State University.
