Ariel Jones

We are excited to announce that Ariel Jones has joined the Career Center as Administrative Manager II. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Business Operations in the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, Ariel will primarily support administrative operations in the Career Center: administrative policies and procedures, HR processes and transactions; facilities coordination; student employment processes and policies; travel and professional development processes and policies; IT management; and other operational support as assigned. She will oversee the day-to-day operational management of OUE's Career Center including supervising front desk personnel and providing assistance when needed for students and others who interact with our office.

Ariel Jones has a robust background in higher education finance, business, and administrative operations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Jacksonville State University and a Master's degree in Management from Middle Georgia State University. Currently, Ariel is pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of West Georgia.

Ariel has been a part of the Georgia Tech community for three years, where she served in a financial administration role, managing extensive grants and awards. Prior to her tenure at Georgia Tech, Ariel worked at the University of West Georgia, where she managed the department budget and implemented processes. She also oversaw HR functions, supported financial and personnel management, and developed key business plans and policies to align with organizational goals.

Ariel is passionate about higher education and dedicated to supporting students, faculty, staff, and external partners. She prioritizes student needs while aligning with the university's mission and vision.
