
Amy D’Unger, Ph.D.
Faculty Director, John H. Martinson Honors Program
Amy D’Unger is responsible for all facets of the operation of the John H. Martinson Honors Program, including curriculum planning, assessment, budgeting, communications, admissions, academic advising, student engagement, and the living learning community.
Amy earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary and a doctoral degree from Duke University. Her professional honors include the OUESS Employee Excellence Award (2025), the Eichholz Faculty Teaching Award and Hesburgh Award (2021), the Class of 1934 CIOS Teaching Award (2020), designation as a Chancellor’s Learning Scholar (2019), the Class of 1934 Undergraduate Educator Award (2017), and IAC Teacher of the Year (2016).
