
Anna Newsome Holcomb, Ed.D.
Reporting jointly to the division of Enrollment Management and the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success (OUESS), Anna Newsome Holcomb provides campus leadership to strategically advance student success as an institutional priority, deploying a wide range of ongoing initiatives and special projects that impact undergraduate retention, persistence, and degree completion.
Anna holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership and Practice from the University of North Georgia, a Master of Science in Education Research from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy from Georgia Institute of Technology. She also earned a Coach Lead Certification from the University of Central Florida, was recognized as a Governor’s Teaching Fellow (2020), and received the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Academic Spotlight Award (2022).
