Director, Academic Transition & Learning Communities
Catherine Thomas is director of Academic Transition and Learning Communities and senior academic professional in the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success (OUESS). She provides strategic leadership for the transition seminars program and serves as institutional representative for Living Learning Communities.
Catherine was a member of the 2024 GT Inclusive Leaders Academy and a 2023 Georgia Association for Women in Higher Education Leadership Program Fellow. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Maryland, College Park, and her Master of Arts and Doctorate in English from the Pennsylvania State University.
