John Mack Freeman directs the Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons within the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success (OUESS), leading building operations, academic partner collaborations, and service integration to support undergraduate teaching, learning, and well-being.
Mack holds a doctoral degree (2025) and a master’s degree (2013) from Valdosta State University. He was the 2026 president of the Georgia First Amendment Foundation and 2023 president of the Georgia Library Association.
