
Julie Sonnenberg-Klein, Ph.D.
Julie Sonnenberg-Klein works at the intersection of education research and program development. She identifies and advances projects, strategies, and initiatives related to High-Impact Practices (HIPs) and Experiential Learning with an emphasis on data-driven program development. Current initiatives involve the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), Leaders in Progress and Service, and the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP).
Julie holds a joint appointment with the Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) Program. She earned her Ph.D. in Education Policy Studies with an emphasis in Research, Measurement and Statistics from Georgia State University; a Master of Education in Education Organization and Leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
