Laura Williams, Ph.D.
Director, Undergraduate Research
As director of Undergraduate Research, Laura Williams designs, implements, and evaluates programs that help undergraduate students engage with research as a creative and transformative learning experience. She coordinates strategic collaborations with campus partners to strengthen the undergraduate research ecosystem.
Prior to joining the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success (OUESS), Laura was an associate professor in the Department of Biology at Providence College. Laura holds a Doctorate in Microbiology from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University.
