
Lorett Swank, Ph.D.
Lorett Swank provides leadership for Advising Operations and Engagement, including campus-wide advising technology implementation and support; Specialized Advising serving pre-health, pre-teaching, pre-graduate, prestigious fellowship and exploratory students; Tutoring and Academic Success Initiatives; and Retention and Completion Initiatives.
She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Research with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from Louisiana State University, along with an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from LSU. She earned a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Southeastern Louisiana University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Lorett has serves as executive director for Academic Success and Advising (ASA) at Georgia Tech since 2023. Previously, she was chief student success officer and director of the Center for Student Excellence at Southeastern Louisiana University from 2017 to 2023, following more than a decade as a faculty member and academic advisor at the institution.
