Roberta Berry, Ph.D.

Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education & Student Success / QEP Coordinator

Roberta Berry serves as deputy to the vice provost for Undergradute Education and Student Success. Working closely with the vice provost and with the Undergraduate Curriculum team, she oversees on curricular matters including academic policies, general education, Georgia Tech’s Leaders in Progress and Service Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), and the Georgia Legislative Requirements (GLR).

Roberta earned her Doctorate in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Notre Dame, where she held a University Presidential Fellowship. She earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Wisconsin School of Law, where she was elected to membership in the Order of the Coif.

Roberta is associate professor in the Carter School of Public Policy, and served as director of the Carter School’s Law, Science & Technology Program (1999-2005). She joined the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success (OUESS) as director (2014-21) then executive director (2021-23) of the Honors Program. She was appointed part-time associate vice provost for Undergraduate Education and Student Success (2022-23) and then full-time (2023-present). In 2025, she assumed leadership of the newly formed Undergraduate Curriculum unit within OUESS.
