On October 30, the Office of Experiential and Engaged Learning hosted the inaugural Experiential Learning Showcase in the Exhibition Hall. This daylong event gave 130 undergraduate students the opportunity to level up their interest in undergraduate research, study abroad, internships/co-ops, community-based learning, Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP), CREATE-X, student innovation and other Institute experiential learning programs.
The showcase included a conversation with Tony Burdett, a Georgia Tech alumnus and Global University Recruiter. Students attended panels with employers, met with Georgia Tech experiential learning program leaders, asked questions about co-ops and internships, visited undergraduate research "drop-in" hours, and heard about other students' research journeys.
This event will be held annually in the fall.
